Our introduction to 'Big Windy'.

In 2009 Scott Brewer, Kyle Agre, Curt Brewer and John Dickelman ventured north of the border to ice fish Lake Winnipeg for the first time. It was an adventure from the start and would lead to many more trips to 'Big Windy' and many more memorable adventures. It was also the start to some incredible friendships with the folks in the WAAM (Walleye Anglers Association of Manitoba) club including an annual tradition between FM Walleyes Unlimited and WAAM in holding their Lake Winnipeg Ice Fishing Excursion, bringing 200+ anglers to the big lake for a gathering full of comeraderie, fun and fishing.
